Noham Kamara, an 18-year-old defender who came up through the Paris Saint-Germain youth system, has joined the Parisian club’s injury list while with the French U19 team during the November international break. L’Equipe has specified the length of the young player’s absence.
Noham Kamara, called up to the French U19 squad for three European Championship qualifying matches, had to withdraw after suffering a minor thigh injury against the Faroe Islands (this Wednesday), Bulgaria (Saturday), and Hungary (next Tuesday).
The 18-year-old center-back is expected to be sidelined for the next two weeks.
At least Kamara shouldn’t be out for very long. It could be worse. But it’s still a setback for the defender, who will miss out on playing for the French U19 team. Let’s hope there isn’t any bad news with the injury lasting longer. We’ll have to wait for an official medical update for confirmation.
