Bradley Barcola, Paris Saint-Germain’s 22-year-old striker, answered some questions for Club Legacyz. In particular, he explained why he wears the original number 29.
“When I was young, I used to play FIFA. In story mode with Alex Hunter, that number became symbolic for me. I said to myself: ‘When I turn pro, it’ll be number 29. Now I’m here and I’ll never let it go.”
It’s interesting to have the story behind such a special number, sometimes there are some great anecdotes. Here, we see a reminder that a professional player remains a human being first and foremost, with dreams at his core and a projection that so many have experienced while playing a game.
Barcola has been “lucky” enough, with a great deal of talent and hard work, to be able to advance along this path. We hope he continues to write a fine story with this 29, possibly for many years to come at PSG. And why not fulfill other big dreams.
