Ilya Zabarnyi, a 22-year-old former central defender from Ukraine, has signed with Paris Saint-Germain from Bournemouth. The deal took some time to finalize, but he is now officially a Parisian. He shared a few words following his signing.
“I am very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain, the best club in the world, with the best project. I am here to give everything I have on the pitch and I am looking forward to making my debut and meeting the fans.”
It makes sense that Zabarnyi is happy to be in Paris. He had to be patient, as the negotiations were incredibly long. But he can finally embark on this adventure, full of desire and ambition.
