On Tuesday at the BayArena, Paris Saint-Germain won their third match of the 2025-2026 Champions League against Bayer Leverkusen with a score of 2-7. We then asked our readers, as we do after every match now, to vote for the best Parisian player of the game. Vitinha (25-year-old midfielder) came out on top.
This seems like a logical choice for the Portuguese midfielder, even though Nuno Mendes (23-year-old left back) was chosen by UEFA. It must be said that there is immense competition in this team, with several players performing at a very high level. Notably Vitinha, once again the conductor of Parisian domination. And he was rewarded with a goal. Mendes too, in addition to an assist, is always capable of wreaking havoc on his side of the field.
Désiré Doué (20-year-old midfielder/forward) only played one half, so it was difficult for him to make his mark. But he finished in a respectable third place after a period of very high-level play, marked by a brace. Other players were also in contention, such as Warren Zaïre-Emery (19-year-old midfielder), who confirmed his return to form, and Willian Pacho (24-year-old defender), who scored his first goal. But it’s not possible to vote for everyone. The most important thing is always the impressive collective strength of the team.
Thank you for your votes. As a reminder, the podium for each match is then used to select the player of the month.
