This Tuesday, first-place Paris Saint-Germain will face eighth-place Bayer Leverkusen at the BayArena in Matchday 3 of the 2025-2026 Champions League (kick-off at 9 p.m. CET). This Monday, RMC Sport announced two major returns to the Paris squad, but also two long-term absences.

Ousmane Dembélé (28-year-old forward) and Marquinhos (31-year-old defender and captain) are back in the PSG squad, which is excellent news. Even if it’s still unclear whether they’ll be able to start. We’ll have to wait a little longer for Fabian Ruiz (29-year-old midfielder) and João Neves (21-year-old midfielder), but at least Paris is regaining some strength. Let’s hope the infirmary continues to empty, without any further unpleasant surprises.
