Paris Saint-Germain drew 1-1 against Bayern Munich and qualified (5-6 on aggregate) this Wednesday at the Allianz Arena for the second leg of their 2025-2026 Champions League semi-final (final on May 30 against Arsenal). After this qualification, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi spoke to Canal+.
Al-Khelaïfi: “Everyone was a great team.”
What are your feelings?
Honestly, it’s magnificent, two finals. Now we’re going for the second star. It’s magnificent, and I spoke to the players, and we don’t just have players, we have warriors. Today, everyone was a great team, solid, and we came here to win.
We have all the respect for Bayern Munich, who are a great team, with great players. Today is a magnificent match for us. We created the great history of PSG here, in this stadium, and we continue to write the greatest history of Paris Saint-Germain here.
Al-Khelaïfi: “The star is the team. Everyone fights.”
You told us after last year’s final, what was next: “a second Champions League title.”
It’s true, it’s our dream. We have a magnificent team, a young team, all together. The star is the team. Everyone fights. That’s football, that’s Paris Saint-Germain. It’s magnificent. The truth is, we have the best coach in the world, the best fans. I’ve only heard from our fans, it’s truly magnificent.
