That’s an impressive feat for any club, especially when you consider the great strikers who have come through PSG’s ranks. That just goes to show the power of these performances. Of course, it’s also striking because Dembélé had been known for years for his lack of efficiency, even though he was quite creative.
Coach Luis Enrique has worked hard with his player to help him progress. What a great asset he is. It remains to be seen how far he’ll go, even if we suspect he won’t be able to score hat-tricks in every game. Or even score all the time. But there’s more to soccer than that. And we shouldn’t forget that Dembélé continues to serve his team-mates and defend.
