What did you think of the match?
I have two conflicting feelings today. As a coach, I’m proud of what we showed; we played the way we wanted to, sticking to our principles and values. That’s what I said before the game: we have nothing to be intimidated by—we’re in Brest, and we want to play football. We want to prove that. Then there’s the competitor in me, who feels frustrated. I think that, with a bit more conviction, we could have at least scored a goal. So, I’m both proud and frustrated.
Do you just need to sharpen your finishing?
We have Bruno working with the forwards—you can offer advice there, too. We’ve been frustrated since the start of the season, and again against Paris, but we’ll keep going. I always say you need the right mindset when you’re at Brest and happy to be here. Opponents need to leave this place feeling disappointed.

Luis Enrique said he didn’t like anything about his team’s performance today. Is Paris beatable this year?
Yes, that’s what I said at halftime. We needed to show more conviction. I told the guys to give it their all and we’d see where we stood at the end of the match. It wasn’t enough; the opposing goalkeeper made some saves. We’re going to work on hitting the target more often and putting the ball in the net. We’ll hold onto the energy we have right now.
