Day 8 of the Champions League 2024-2025 league phase was played this week. UEFA is organizing a number of fan votes. In this case, it’s a question of choosing between the most beautiful goals. Paris Saint-Germain, who won at the Mercedes-Benz Arena on Wednesday against Stuttgart (1-4, video highlights Stuttgart/PSG), is absent. The competition is between Johan Bakayoko (23-year-old winger from PSV Eindhoven), Guelor Kanga (24-year-old attacking midfielder from Red Star Belgrade), Adam Daghim (19-year-old attacking midfielder from RB Salzburg) and Ederson (25-year-old midfielder from Atalanta).
You might have thought that PSG’s 27-year-old striker Ousmane Dembélé would have made it into the top 4 goals of the week with one of his two fine strikes (the 1st goal of his hat-trick being less impressive), but you have to admit that the competition is very strong with some superb goals.
