This week saw the play-offs for the Champions League 2024-2025. UEFA then organizes various fan votes. Paris Saint-Germain, who beat Brest at the Parc des Princes today (7-0, video highlights PSG/Brest, 10-0 overall), did not have a player in contention for the Champions League Player of the Year award. The competition was between Vitinha (25-year-old Parisian midfielder), Kylian Mbappé (26-year-old Real Madrid striker), Orkun Kökçü (24-year-old Benfica midfielder) and Noa Lang (25-year-old PSV Eindhoven winger). Mbappé came out on top.

There are no surprises in the wake of Mbappé’s hat-trick against Manchester City, even if we hope to see Vitinha a little more in this ranking between finalists.
