This Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain (1st in Ligue 1) take on Dunkerque (5th in Ligue 2) at Stade Pierre-Mauroy in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France 2024-2025 (kick-off 9.10pm, UTC+1). With 2 days to go, Le Parisien has put forward a likely Parisian line-up.
Barcola – Dembélé – Doué
Mayulu – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma
Beware, there are no certainties until the official announcement. And even then, there may still be doubts about the place of each individual, as we saw again this Saturday when we travelled to Saint-Etienne. Here, we have a general idea of the team that is taking shape.
With Ligue 1 all but wrapped up, as coach Luis Enrique pointed out, and the Champions League returning next week with the quarter-final first leg against Aston Villa (April 9, return on the 15th), we can expect an almost “standard” team. This is a French Cup semi-final, with no room for error.
It doesn’t matter if the opposing team is “only in Ligue 2”. We have to take this meeting very seriously. It’s also a possible preparation in terms of automatisms for Europe. We’ll have to wait and see what the Parisian line-up looks like, with Luis Enrique’s PSG still full of options. And perhaps a slight rotation for certain players.
