The end of the year is approaching, and it’s almost time to reward the players who shone throughout 2025. For the FIFA The Best awards, the nominees for the Team of the Year have been announced. Unsurprisingly, eleven Paris Saint-Germain players, as well as Gianluigi Donnarumma, the 26-year-old Manchester City goalkeeper, are among the nominees.

Having won the Champions League, the domestic double, reached the Club World Cup final, and triumphed in the UEFA Super Cup, PSG will undoubtedly be a major presence at the ceremony. Already lavishly rewarded at the Ballon d’Or ceremony last September, PSG could well repeat their success at the end of this year. We can only hope to see these Parisians once again honored after an exceptional season, crowned with historic triumphs for the capital club.
