Bradley Barcola, Paris Saint-Germain’s 22-year-old striker, spoke to beIN SPORTS after Wednesday’s 2-4 victory (Espaly/PSG video highlights) over FC Espaly in the last 16 of the Coupe de France 2024-2025. He spoke of the hard-fought qualification.
Barcola: “We’re only going to remember today’s victory”.
A sigh of relief? Who’d have thought you’d be struggling?
Yes, we got off to a bad start and were taken by surprise. But fortunately we managed to get back on track towards the end of the game and we’ll remember today only as a victory.
Any moments of doubt?
No, I don’t think so. I saw a team that wanted to win, that pushed right to the end and we were rewarded.
The changes at half-time, too many youngsters on the pitch?
I don’t know, maybe it was the wrong formula. It’s up to the coach. In the end, it worked well, so we’re happy.
