The French Women’s National Team faces Poland this Saturday at 9:10 PM CET. The match will be played at the Stade Gaston Gérard in Dijon, as part of the 2027 Women’s World Cup qualifiers. Five Paris Saint-Germain players, all French, will be involved in the match: Elisa De Almeida, Thiniba Samoura, Anaïs Ebayilin, and Sakina Karchaoui. Find information about the broadcast of this France/Poland match here.

After their victory against Ireland in the first round, France needs to build on this performance to advance as quickly as possible towards the World Cup. It’s a clear objective; missing out would be a huge disappointment. They have the squad to be ambitious.

The performance against Ireland could be encouraging. However, there were also some collective difficulties that suggest there’s still work to be done to reach their full potential. Poland won’t go down without a fight; they are an opponent to be taken very seriously after their 2-2 draw against the Netherlands.
