Randal Kolo Muani, a 26-year-old French international striker under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2028, was loaned out to Tottenham on transfer deadline day for the 2025–2026 season, without a purchase option. He spoke to Spurs media following his signing.
Kolo Muani: “It’s up to me now to show all my qualities on the pitch.”
What’s your feeling after signing with Tottenham?
I’m very, very happy to play for Tottenham — very satisfied, very proud. I can’t wait to meet my teammates and all the fans, and to start playing.
How would you describe your personality?
I’m a player who fights hard for the shirt. I fight for the fans, for the club, for the badge. I hope to bring a lot of goals and points to my new team.
Your relationship with coach Thomas Frank?
I already know him well — we’ve spoken before. We talked about the project, and that really attracted me. Now, it’s up to me to show all my qualities on the pitch.
Kolo Muani: “I’ve watched this league a lot on TV.”
Your career path so far?
I started in the Paris region where I came through the ranks, then I went to FC Nantes. I was loaned to Boulogne-sur-Mer before returning to Nantes. After that, I spent a year at Eintracht Frankfurt. I then signed for Paris Saint-Germain, where I stayed for three years — except for last season when I went on loan to Juventus.
Facing Tottenham with Frankfurt in 2022?
That’s a very good memory, with the supporters pushing hard. I only have good memories from it, and I can’t wait to play here and meet them again.
How do you approach this new adventure?
I can’t wait to get started. I’ve watched this league a lot on TV. Now I’m here, and I’m excited to step onto the pitches, start playing, and show what I can do for my new club.
