Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Paris Saint-Germain’s 24-year-old striker, spoke at a press conference ahead of the Nations League second leg against Armenia (3-0 win in the first leg). While he praised his opponents, he also spoke of his happiness at PSG and the Georgian national team.

“I’m very happy at PSG. I’m learning a lot with a coach like Luis Enrique. He helps me to progress. I’ve got a lot of time ahead of me and I’m going to make the most of it to progress. I’m very happy in Paris and here with the national team. Wherever you’re treated with respect, you want to give your best.”
We have no doubt that he is a fulfilled player. Tired of the treatment he received at Napoli last year, he was keen to make a fresh start, and the Paris club seems to be just the place. The game he plays suits him, and the team is competitive.
In the national team, he’s making good progress and that’s obviously a good thing for him and his career. We can’t wait to see him step up a gear with Paris, where the end of the season promises to be thrilling.
