It may come as a bit of a surprise to see Nuno Mendes in this team. He was good, but not particularly outstanding in a frustratingly defensive role. His decisive surge at the end of the match may well have left its mark.
Perhaps the other left-backs weren’t in particularly good form either. In any case, not seeing any other Parisians is relatively logical for a PSG that didn’t shine. Other performers were more memorable.
