Paris Saint-Germain and Lens faced off this Saturday at Stade Bollaert for the 18th day of Ligue 1 2024-2025. The match ended in a 1-2 Parisian victory. After the match, Lens striker Florian Sotoca spoke to beIN SPORTS. He was understandably frustrated, even if there were some positives.

Sotoca “It’s infuriating, but on the whole we can be proud of the group.

Did you have a good attitude tonight ?

It’s infuriating, we played some really good football. In the last game, we had to put up with a lot, but now we’re almost the ones with the chances. They’ve got the ball a lot, and we knew that we had them on the run. Unfortunately, we lacked that second goal to put them on the back foot, and then once they’d equalised it was difficult.

Are you in a great frame of mind ?

Of course, in terms of spirit, everyone pulled out all the stops on the pitch. It didn’t come down to much, and we took that goal at the end. It’s infuriating, but on the whole we can be proud of the group.
