Match schedule for Matchday 27.
With a 19-point lead over 2nd-placed OM, the suspense over PSG’s title is all but over, but the exact moment remains. As early as March, it would be very impressive. And it’s possible with a win at Saint-Etienne, if Marseille lose at Reims beforehand, and a draw between Monaco (3rd) and Nice (4th). It’s far from a done deal, though, and the Stéphanois won’t be making the slightest concession, even though relegation is a real threat. Reims will also be keen to catch Marseille, who are still favourites.
On Saturday, Monaco and Nice also face off in the race for Europe. The result is not decisive for the European places, as there are still games to be played afterwards, but it is bound to be worth a lot of money. Like the one between Lille (6th) and Lens (8th) on Sunday evening, which closes the day. What’s more, these are two great derbies. A great way to get back into the swing of things.
The match between Lyon (5th) and Strasbourg (7th) is obviously also one to watch in a weekend of intense European racing. There’s also an intriguing duel in the maintenance section, with Le Havre (16th) hosting FC Nantes (13th). Also worth watching is the meeting between Angers (14th), who need a fresh start to breathe, and Rennes (12th), who could take an interesting lead.
