As is customary after each matchday, L’Équipe has published its Team of the Week for Matchday 15 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season, which took place this past weekend (find the results and standings here). Following their 5-0 victory against Rennes at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain has two players selected.

It’s logical to find PSG players in this Team of the Week after their impressive performance on Saturday. In fact, they had the highest average rating in the sports daily for this matchday. Ultimately, there are “only” two players, even though Paris was quite impressive. But it’s still good to see Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (24-year-old forward) and Senny Mayulu (19-year-old attacking midfielder) included.
The former has made a strong return to form after a difficult period. Like his team, the full week of preparation clearly did him good. Fresher than ever, he was a nightmare for the Rennes defense and distinguished himself with a fine brace. Mayulu, for his part, also looked sharper and rediscovered his scoring touch. This can only be a positive sign.
Other Parisians could perhaps have been included in this best XI, notably Warren Zaïre-Emery (19-year-old midfielder). He was very strong defensively on the right flank. The young Parisian also confirmed that he is regaining power and confidence, as well as a bit of boldness, in his game. But other Ligue 1 players also deserve recognition.
