Last Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Inter Milan in the final of the Champions League 2024-2025. A historic title, since it’s the first in the club’s history. But it was also the occasion for Lucas Hernandez (29-year-old Parisian defender) to put in an exceptional performance.
“Lucas Hernandez (Paris, Bayern) is the 2nd player to complete the league, cup and C1 treble on 2 occasions, after Samuel Eto’o (Barcelona, Inter Milan).”
That’s something special. Trebles are rare, but to score 2 is extraordinary. Hernandez is one of only 2 players to have done so. That’s something to celebrate. All the more so with the major injuries suffered by the defender. One at Bayern Munich, the other at PSG. He was able to react, fight and win important titles. Not forgetting the 2018 World Cup, of course. Well done to him.
