This Sunday at 9:05pm (UTC+1) Paris Saint-Germain (1st) take on Olympique Lyonnais (6th) at Groupama Stadium as part of the 23rd day of Ligue 1 2024-2025. According to Le Parisien, the Parisian club will be without its supporters due to a prefectural order.
It’s sad for PSG, its fans and its players, as they won’t be able to be together for this great championship match. It’s also a shame for soccer, because it’s made for everyone, and the atmosphere is always more intense with both sides present.
Unfortunately, however, given the incidents between Lyon and Paris fans, it’s not incomprehensible that this trip has been banned. It will take more time and more matches without incident to regain more freedom. Let’s never forget that violence has no place in sport, whatever the passion.
