Kylian Mbappé, France’s 25-year-old striker, is now at Real Madrid following his departure from Paris Saint-Germain. However, not everything has yet been settled between the player and the club where he spent 7 years. The French international is in financial dispute with Paris over unpaid wages and bonuses, despite PSG’s belief that an agreement had been reached. L’Equipe reports this Friday that the club’s appeal against the decision of the Ligue de Football Professionnel’s legal commission in favor of the player has led to a pro-works summons to appear before the LFP’s joint national appeals commission.

“The date of the next meeting between Kylian Mbappé and PSG is known. Both parties have now been summoned to appear before the Ligue de Football Professionnel’s (LFP) joint national appeals commission on Tuesday afternoon, October 15.
Depending on what the joint commission decides, a further appeal may be lodged with the higher appeals commission, under the aegis of the FFF, before diverting to the civil courts and the administrative and/or industrial tribunal.”
We don’t know more about the outcome of this painful dossier, but at least we have the date of the next possible breakthrough. Patience will be required, but the timeframe is quite reasonable. At the very least, it will give a bit of a boost to the international break, which starts on October 7.
In the meantime, we’re sure that each party will prepare its case to the best of its ability. Without forgetting to focus on the matches ahead. Rennes, Arsenal and Nice on the Parisian side. And Kylian Mbappé is injured.
