Manu Koné, a 23-year-old midfielder under contract to AS Roma until June 2029, has been the target of Paris Saint-Germain in recent years. The rumor concerning the French national team player returned on Thursday. However, Arthur Perrot (RMC Sport) immediately denied it.
Corriere dello Sport reported this morning that PSG are considering Koné for the summer mercato, but that AS Roma are not selling. So the rumor may be briefly “spicy”, but it’s also a little limited. The French journalist’s denial makes it all the colder.
We can only agree that Paris may think of Koné as a possible reinforcement if ever there’s an opportunity. But that’s all for now.
PSG may have many other leads, and there’s nothing to suggest that an offer could be made for the French national team midfielder in the near future. And Rome is unlikely to accept him easily, a year after his arrival from Borussia Mönchenglabach.
