Manu Koné, the 25-year-old AS Roma (contracted until 2029) and France national team midfielder, has frequently been linked to Paris Saint-Germain during recent transfer windows. PSG Inside Actus now claims that the French international’s agent is pushing for PSG to make an offer to the Italian club. However, securing the move is far from a sure thing, despite the existing interest.
Bouaddi over Koné?
“Manu Koné’s agent is doing his utmost to convince PSG to make a move. For his part, the midfielder is highly motivated by the prospect of joining the French champions.
PSG values the French international’s profile but is also exploring other options—specifically Ayyoub Bouaddi, who remains the priority. If the Parisian club succeeds in signing the young Lille player, the pursuit of Manu Koné would likely be abandoned.”
This scenario is credible; Koné’s desire to join has been reported by several media outlets and is entirely plausible. Equally, PSG might view him as an interesting player without necessarily considering him a top priority. Bouaddi (18, Lille and Morocco) is also frequently cited as a target for Paris, though a transfer looks set to be very complicated. Signing both players would make little sense given the current squad composition; it remains to be seen whether Paris will move for either of them. It is possible, but far from certain.
