Luis Campos arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2022, replacing sporting director Leonardo, but with a special role as “soccer advisor”. His track record is a regular topic of debate, and rumors of a departure have been circulating for months, as well as those of a contract extension. Journalist Sacha Tavolieri asserted this Sunday evening that his future has taken a “decisive turn”.

We’re cautious, there’s nothing concrete as it’s not official. There have been a lot of rumours surrounding Campos, and it’s difficult to get a clear picture. Most recently, there was talk of an extension at PSG.
So it could be another turn of events, but it’s possible. There’s no clear-cut agreement with Paris, and discussions with other clubs are ongoing. Beware, too, of a possible “pressure tactic” via a rumour launched by Campos or his entourage.
There’s no choice but to wait for certainty. Let’s hope it doesn’t drag on, as the Portuguese manager has an important role to play in the PSG project.
