The 2025 summer mercato isn’t open yet, of course, but it’s already getting underway, so rumors about Paris Saint-Germain still arrive from time to time. This time, it’s journalist Sacha Tavolieri who reports that soccer advisor Luis Campos is turning his attention to Belgium.
“EXCL.
Luis Campos is FUNDAMENTAL in the Belgian soccer market! The Paris Saint-Germain sports consultant was spotted in the stands this Sunday to watch KRC Genk – Antwerp, as well as the game between Union St.Gilloise and Club de Bruges.”
That doesn’t mean there will necessarily be offers for players in Belgium. There are a lot of elements in a mercato before arriving at something concrete. However, there are possible leads for PSG on this front.
It’s not the championship we’re thinking about most to improve the Parisian squad and prepare for the future. But there’s a lot of great talent coming through Belgium, and it’s possible that there could be some good moves to be made. One example is Willian Pacho (23-year-old defender), who passed through this country before playing for Eintracht Frankfurt last season and then signing for PSG.
We’re now waiting to hear more, with perhaps a few leads coming to fruition. And let’s not forget that Luis Campos is currently at the end of his contract with Paris this summer. Which leaves us in little doubt as to whether he will be preparing his next project. In any case, the Portuguese must be aware of several possible leads with talents to spot.
