Axel Tape, a 17-year-old Paris Saint-Germain-trained defender whose contract expires this summer, has been rumored to be on his way out of PSG at the end of the season. Now, Sport1‘s journalist Christopher Michel reports that the player is closing in on a move to Bayer Leverkusen.
Why aren’t PSG fighting? Probably because the staff don’t think the player’s level is good enough, even for the future. Or perhaps the player doesn’t want to play second fiddle for too long. Maybe we’ll find out later, but it seems this hopeful had a future in Paris. We’ll follow the outcome, but a first professional contract is clearly slipping away.
