Randal Kolo Muani, the 26-year-old striker signed by Paris Saint-Germain until June 2028, was one of the club’s biggest transfers when he arrived at the summer mercato in September 2023. But he has failed to establish himself and a departure is looming. Foot Mercato’s Josué Cassé and Santi Aouna even claim that Chelsea are targeting the French striker. They suggest that PSG may approach them in the next few days.
“The Blues are expected to contact PSG in the next few days to discuss terms and conditions. Seduced by his qualities, his versatility on the attacking front and his availability on the market, the London club has now joined the long list of suitors. It now remains to be seen whether the various parties will be able to find common ground.”
It’s quite a surprise to see such a well-stocked club interested in Kolo Muani. Proof that nobody is put off by his performances. It’s more a question of compatibility with Luis Enrique than a player with sporting difficulties. That’s good for Paris, because we need to find a way out for a player who is hardly ever on the pitch with his club.
Of course, we remain cautious, as rumours can also be fuelled to create tension in an issue. We’ll wait for more official information before getting carried away, but this is a promising lead.
