Désiré Doué, a versatile 19-year-old player, spoke to Téléfoot about his decision to join Paris Saint-Germain. According to him, it’s a choice of the heart and a great opportunity. In particular, he praised Luis Enrique (comments transcribed by us).

Gifted “Luis Enrique, one of the best coaches in the world, if not the best”.

What tipped the balance in favor of PSG this summer ?

It was a choice that came from my heart. There’s the coach, Luis Enrique, one of the best coaches in the world, if not the best. And for me, it was an opportunity I had to seize.

Because I dreamed of being able to play alongside the best coaches like that. I’m really pleased.

It’s a nice message, and it suggests that the whole interview will be high praise for the Parisian club. He’s shown that he can keep up with the team. Now it’s up to him to become a regular player who makes an impact for his team. This summer, he was heckled quite a bit on social networks about his alleged hesitation between Bayern Munich and PSG.

That said, Doué seems to have integrated perfectly into the team and from the outset, we’ve seen a very clear scenario. The choice of PSG is a wise one, he’s living his dream and now it’s in the capital that he’ll have to turn the corner. See you this Sunday for the rest of the interview.
