Randal Kolo Muani, the 26-year-old striker signed by Paris Saint-Germain until June 2028, was one of the club’s biggest transfers when he arrived at the summer mercato in September 2023. But he has failed to make an impact, and a departure is looming. L’Equipe reports this Wednesday morning that the player has told his agents that he has the green light to move forward with clubs. All that’s needed now is an agreement with PSG.
“Kolo Muani has given his agreement.”
“Randal Kolo Muani, who has been approached for several weeks, has given his agreement for his representatives to move forward on certain leads. Direct contacts have been made with several suitors. These include Tottenham, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Chelsea, RB Leipzig, Milan and Juventus Turin. Thiago Motta’s club very interested in the French international
Monaco also tried their luck in the form of a loan without option, but PSG refused. The French champions know that they are unlikely to sell the striker this winter, having signed him from Frankfurt for €90m in the summer of 2023, so they want to include an almost automatic purchase option in the loan deal.
“It’s now up to PSG to come to an agreement with the candidates”.
While the player is not closing the door on interesting projects, it is now up to PSG to come to an agreement with the candidates and find a deal that satisfies all parties.”
There’s nothing certain yet, as these are just rumours and nothing official. Kolo Muani is of course on his way out, as his playing time is very limited at PSG. But that doesn’t mean a deal will be easy to reach.
The player may have certain expectations, and so does PSG. At the very least, his recent good performances with the French national team give us hope that there will indeed be some interesting offers.
Let’s wait for more certainty. There are still many possible outcomes. It could come soon, which would be good news for Kolo Muani and PSG. We can also assume that a player would be recruited if he were to leave. We just don’t know who.
