Having arrived in 2021 from Sporting Portugal, Nuno Mendes has quickly shown that he has great qualities. Unsurprisingly, Paris Saint-Germain were keen to secure the future of the 22-year-old left-back by extending his contract, which expires in 2026. According to RMC Sport, however, it’s at least dead, and the player is now thinking mainly of leaving.

It’s annoying, as Nuno Mendes is a player who is rather appreciated. Not to mention the fact that top-level full-backs are rare. But there’s no drama. There are other players out there and nobody can be more important than the club. There are always solutions. There’s also a certain fragility that sometimes annoys and worries.
