As Paris Saint-Germain enters the run-up to the mercato, all the media are on the lookout for various rumors. In Croatia, the Martin Baturina rumour, a 21-year-old attacking midfielder from GNK Dinamo Zagreb, has come to light. According to the Croatian media Germanijad, PSG are very interested.

“PSG in advanced negotiations for Martin Baturina! PSG are reportedly very interested in GNK Dinamo Zagreb’s attacking midfielder, for 25M!

His club would like to keep him until next summer, but Paris wants to recruit him in January!”

Baturina is considered to be a very good future Croatian player. He has obvious technical qualities and a keen sense of the game, even if he is still young. His game has not yet fully matured, so there is still room for improvement. Nevertheless, there’s no guarantee that he’ll ever reach the level he’s been promised.

However, he remains an under-rated player who is only too happy to finally come to a club that can exploit his full potential. At just 1.72 m, he’s at the same level as our midfielders, and therefore doesn’t offer the physical added value that some are calling for.
