PSG sports consultant Luis Campos was on hand at Parc Duden to observe Ardon Jashari, the 22-year-old Swiss defensive midfielder from Club Brugge. Recruited last summer for 6 million euros and under contract until 2029, Jashari has quickly established himself as a key player thanks to his impressive passing statistics and defensive activity. According to DH Les Sports+, Brugge are keen to keep him, but PSG’s interest confirms the player’s rise to prominence on the European stage.

“Luis Campos was in the stands at Parc Duden during the match between Union SG and Club Brugge, watching Ardon Jashari!
Luis Campos is already enchanted by the player!
Bought last summer for €6 million and with a contract until 2029. Club Brugge would obviously like to keep the Swiss player for another year.
According to the data, Jashari consistently finishes in the top 10 or even top 5 in passing statistics (whether deep, progressive, long or in the opposition’s final third).”
Another young player in the Parisian sights, but it also shows that the recruitment team is looking for the rare pearl(s). Jashari isn’t very well known, and his statistics aren’t enough to show his talent. We know he’s in the top 10 of one statistic, in the Belgian league… A little light on information.
We’ll have to take a closer look at his case and start thinking about the upcoming mercato, Luis Enrique’s needs and possibilities.
