Lucas Beraldo, Paris Saint-Germain’s 21-year-old defender, stopped by the mixed zone after the 2-1 defeat to Strasbourg this Saturday at the Stade de la Meinau as part of the 32nd day of Ligue 1 2024-2025.

Beraldo “we’re concentrating on Wednesday to get the win at home.”

Was it hard to ignore Arsenal ?

No, it was a tough game today. Now we’re preparing for Wednesday’s game and we’re ready to play.

Was the team too young, too inexperienced ?

I think that’s possible. But we train and play every day to do our best. This time, we’re not coming away from the game with the win, but we’re concentrating on Wednesday to get the win at home.

Do you feel you gave it your all today, or was there a bit of restraint ?

I think we gave it everything we had. We didn’t get the win, but as I said, we’re focused on the game against Arsenal, to win it and get to the Champions League final.

With the 0-1 win in the first leg, are you favourites for the return ?

No, I don’t think there are any favorites. 1-0 is nothing in soccer. We’re going to play the same way and keep on winning.

Beraldo: “We tried our best.

Is Strasbourg a bit like Paris ?

They’re a very good team, very young. We played the way we know how. We couldn’t get the win, but we tried as hard as we could.

Any disappointment in the dressing room ?

No, because we gave it our all. We didn’t manage to score the goals, but we’re still going forward.
