Nico Williams, Spain’s 22-year-old striker under contract until 2027 with Athletic Bilbao, was placed in the sights of Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato in a new rivalry with FC Barcelona. In the end, however, he stayed put. El Desmarque reports this Monday that PSG are ready to go for it.

A relatively conceivable assertion, given that Williams is a young talent who still has a lot of winning to do. This would fit in well with the Parisian project, with reinforced competition in attack.
However, we remain cautious as there is nothing concrete. Rumours are rife at the moment, without the slightest confirmation. So we’ll have to wait and see. Let’s not forget that other avenues exist, and that Williams may well have other ideas than a signature in Paris. Even if this is a possible outcome.
