The good news is that the mercato closes in a few days’ time in almost all countries. This will calm things down, as rumours have been rife of late, with little confirmation. Asensio and Ndour will certainly see the light.
Hopefully, the Spaniard will be out on loan by then, and the Italian will be ready for his next challenge. It’s a time for optimism. However, nothing has yet been confirmed by either player or club. So we remain cautious, as always with rumours.
