As the 2024-2025 winter mercato draws ever closer (January), the rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain are piling up. Today, Tuttosport and Calciomercato report that PSG are ready to recruit Aaron Ciammaglichella, taking advantage of the 19-year-old midfielder’s contract with Torino coming to an end in the summer of 2025.
According to the two Italian media outlets, PSG are on the lookout to make an offer to the player and recruit him at a lower cost, if at all, if he reaches the end of his contract next summer.
An announcement that is impossible to believe, given that this is a promising player. All clubs hope to strengthen their ranks and build a team for many years to come, without spending too much. Moreover, since 2023, this has clearly been the Parisian project of relying on talent to grow together.
We remain cautious, however, as there’s nothing concrete at the moment. It’s just a rumor, which could be a pressure tactic in the negotiation of a new contract. Ciammaglichella has played just one match for Torino so far this season.
Let’s wait and see. It may be a case to follow, or something forgotten in a few weeks’ time.
