As the 2024-2025 winter mercato draws ever closer (January), the rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain are piling up. Today, journalist Florian Plettenberg (Sky Sport) has confirmed that Kenan Yildiz, the 19-year-old striker from Turkey and Juventus Turin (contract until 2029), is a Parisian prospect.
Nothing impossible, as Yildiz is one of the great talents of his generation, and PSG could quite logically be looking to bolster their attack. The Turkish international has shown great promise with Juventus, and his versatility (he can play as a left-winger or in the centre of midfield) and 1.87m height could well be put to good use.
However, there’s nothing particularly advanced. For the time being, it’s a question of following him up and possibly making enquiries. But Juventus aren’t necessarily selling, and Yildiz may have other plans than signing for PSG. Either to stay or to aim for other destinations. There’s no offer yet, let alone an agreement.
Not to mention the fact that a number of players are being talked about in Paris, with rumours ultimately revolving around nothing. Let’s at least wait for the beginnings of confirmation before seeing things more clearly.
