Marco Asensio, Paris Saint-Germain’s 28-year-old midfielder/attacker under contract until 2026, has been struggling of late and has been rather sidelined by coach Luis Enrique. So the idea of a mercato departure is taking hold. This Friday, Estadio Deportivio and Super Desporte present a list of interested clubs.
We remain cautious, as there’s still nothing concrete for Asensio while the rumours accumulate. It would make sense for him to leave this winter, given how little he’s played in recent weeks. Except that PSG would need an interesting way out and an offer that would please them. Not to mention the fact that the Parisian club may want a replacement.
There’s nothing certain yet, so let’s wait and see. The Spanish international’s case remains rather vague.
