Lamine Yamal, FC Barcelona’s 17-year-old winger under contract until 2026, is establishing himself as one of the greatest talents of his generation. He has even attracted rumours of interest from Paris Saint-Germain. The Spanish press reported a €200 million bid last summer. Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, he responded.
“The offer from Paris?
Personally, I haven’t received an offer. But even if they had contacted someone close to me, they wouldn’t tell me. I’ve got a contract. I don’t think it’s possible for me to go to another club. I love Barça.
Yamal does not really give any information on the existence or not of an offer, it will remain in the vagueness. And we have to be very careful, since it has only been mentioned in the Spanish media and denied by PSG.
But the main thing is clear, and unsurprisingly, the young striker is not about to leave Barça. The Spanish international is focused on his history with his parent club, and we suspect that a transfer would be extremely costly. PSG will no doubt be concentrating on other options.
