On Wednesday at the Stade Louis II, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Monaco 2-4 in an advanced match on Matchday 16 of Ligue 1 2024-2025. We then asked our readers, as they do after every match from now on, to vote for the best Parisian of the match. Achraf Hakimi (26-year-old right-back) came out on top.

Monaco/PSG - The best Parisian player is elected!

It was a fine victory for the Moroccan international, who succeeded in surpassing 27-year-old striker Ousmane Dembélé’s brace. The decisive assist for the opening goal, Hakimi continues to impress with his athleticism and game intelligence. A great defensive and offensive asset.

The rest of the podium comes as no surprise, with Dembélé of course making a major contribution to the victory and Désiré Doué (19-year-old midfielder/attacker) confirming his rise to prominence, even if he was more discreet in the second half. It’s good to have a player between several top performers, and let’s hope it continues.

We would like to thank you for your votes, which will now be organized after each official match. We would also like to point out that the podiums from the player of the match elections will be used to elect the player of the month.
