It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Nambatingue Toko, Paris Saint-Germain striker from 1980 to 1985 and former Chadian international, following a battle with cancer.

The Paris Saint-Germain family is in mourning.

Toko will hold a special place in PSG’s history. Among his 43 goals in the capital, he notably scored the club’s first-ever goal in a European competition, in the Round of 32 of the Cup Winners’ Cup. We can only thank him for his time at PSG and offer our condolences to his family and friends.
