After the creation of the badge on the jersey of the top scorer and top passer in Ligue 1, another new feature has arrived in Ligue 1. This is the trophy for the best dribbler, to be voted for throughout the season.
Whether or not we’re all delighted by this development, it’s certainly a new award to be bestowed. Is it a good thing that it’s individual in this team sport? It’s hard to say. It’s easy to admit that soccer is also about dribbling, as much for efficiency as for spectacle. So why not?
