The AFC, UEFA’s Asian equivalent, has announced the winner of the International Player of the Year award (for Asian players playing for clubs outside of Asia). Paris Saint-Germain was represented by Lee Kang-In (a 24-year-old midfielder/forward from South Korea), competing against Takefusa Kuba (a 24-year-old winger for Real Sociedad and Japan) and Mehdi Taremi (a 33-year-old striker for Inter Milan and Iran). The Parisian player emerged victorious.
A great success for Lee, rewarding his rise to prominence at PSG and his contribution to a historic season. We can only congratulate him and hope to see him continue his excellent form. It seems he has finally settled in and is ready to achieve even greater things in Paris.
