Cher Ndour, the 20-year-old midfielder under contract to Paris Saint-Germain until 2028, is on loan to Besiktas for the rest of the season. But he was mooted as a way out of the loan limit, with a recall and possible sale. This has now been confirmed, with a definitive departure for Fiorentina made official today.
It’s a rather good sale for PSG, estimated at around ten million euros by the media. Ndour was recruited from Benfica at the end of his contract, with the hope of seeing him grow. He failed to make a name for himself in Paris, but after a series of successful loans, the Italian is leaving for a handsome fee.
We can only wish him every success as he returns to his native Italy. There’s nothing to reproach him for in his time in Paris, even if he won’t be remembered for his lack of playing time (although he did score in the French Cup).
