A few months ago, QSI (Qatar Sports Investments)—best known as the owner of Paris Saint-Germain—took charge of the sporting operations at KAS Eupen, a club in the Belgian second division. This Thursday, the group led by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi (who holds the same role at PSG) announced a takeover to become the club’s sole owner.
“Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) is pleased to announce the completion of the acquisition of KAS Eupen. QSI is now the club’s sole owner, having previously taken over sporting management of KAS Eupen in December 2025.”
This comes as little surprise, given that QSI had already established a strong foothold within the Belgian club—notably through the appointment of sporting director Pasquale Sensibile, who previously headed up scouting operations at PSG. This link has now been strengthened; it remains to be seen whether it will foster player transfers between the two clubs, particularly regarding potential loan deals or, perhaps, the arrival of young talents in Paris from KAS Eupen.
