UEFA conducted the draw for the 2026-2027 Champions League third qualifying round this Monday. The event involved one French club, Olympique Lyonnais, which will face Sparta Prague (first leg on August 4 or 5, return leg on August 11). Below is the full draw, covering both the League Path (qualification based on league standing rather than winning the title) and the Champions Path (for domestic league winners). The latter is not yet finalized, as matches remain to be played.

After this round, the play-offs remain (first legs on August 18 and 19, return legs on August 25 and 26). As a reminder, AS Monaco will participate in the Conference League play-offs. Lyon and ASM could face a very busy schedule early in the season, but the motivation is high. The play-off draw will take place on August 3.
