On Sunday at the Stade Jean Bouin, Paris Saint-Germain lost to Paris FC 2-1 in Matchday 34 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season. As we now do after every match, we asked our readers to vote for the best PSG player of the game. Matvey Safonov (27-year-old goalkeeper) won.

A victory that wasn’t entirely unexpected for Safonov, even though there were some contenders. Unfortunately, the goalkeeper and Marquinhos (32-year-old center-back and captain) were the main players to watch in this defeat. This highlights just how far below PSG’s usual standard. Nothing alarming for such a lackluster match. Fabian Ruiz (30-year-old midfielder) did manage to stand out with a few good passes. But the subsequent ranking is based on the least disappointing players, rather than the most impressive.
Thank you for your votes. As a reminder, the top three finishers from each match are then used to determine the Player of the Month.
