Paris Saint-Germain won 2-1 (3-1 on aggregate) against Arsenal this Wednesday at the Parc des Princes as part of the return semi-finals of the Champions League 2024-2025 (final on May 31). Luis Enrique, coach of the capital club, spoke to PSG TV after qualifying to face Inter Milan in Munich.

Enrique: “We showed a lot of character”.

“The first feeling is to be happy with everything the team and the fans have achieved. There are still two games to go, two finals. But we’ve shown throughout the season that we’re a real team. I think we showed a lot of character in today’s match. We’re happy, but there are still two games to go before we go down in history (with the Coupe de France final against Reims on May 24).”

Enrique “PSG will always fight to achieve their goal.”

“Throughout the season, in the Champions League, we suffered enormously. At one point we had no efficiency. But we kept working, trying to improve. The players did their job very well.

And with these fans, it’s incredible. The intensity in the stadium today was incredible. We showed again tonight that whatever the match, PSG will always fight to achieve its goal.”
